It's quite cool how Mahara seems to be taking off world wide now. Just last night I stumbled across a video by Julian Ridden about Mahara:
I'm hearing stories of people having trialed Mahara and choosing to roll it out in larger pilots (though some people still have issues with it). Largely, people are praising the general usability, and flexibility of the views editor, which is great given how much effort we put into it over the past year. Though I'm sure we still have a way to go in all these areas!
Later this year, I'm finally getting to go to a conference to plug Mahara! I'll be speaking at the NZ Moodlemoot in October on the state of Moodle/Mahara integration, and I'm also penciled in for a slot at the Australian Moodlemoot a week earlier too.
